Omnium has been exploring online collaborative creativity (OCC) through research projects and online communities, since its formation in 1998.
Omnium is a research group of academics, designers, artists, programmers and writers who work collaboratively (and from different countries) to explore the potential the Internet allows for what we term – online collaborative creativity (OCC). We have split our activities into four areas:
The Omnium® Software is designed specifically for e-learning in creative disciplines using either text, image, movie or sound files.
Omnium Outreach Projects aim to assist and aid communities in need through sustainable art and design projects.
Omnium attracts commercial projects that help fund much of its research, non-profit online communities and projects.
